North Country Outfitters of West Branch, L.L.C. was started in 2006. The business was started under a very simple principal: “Come in as a customer, leave as a friend.” We still live by that creed today. In a world where Internet and large Super-Centers have taken over how people shop, I have continued to strive for one on one customer care and attention to detail.  The “Shop” was started out of a garage and has since moved to a larger garage (commonly referred to as “The Taj Mahal”), built in 2008.  We provide business hours, but because we are in/out of the shop throughout the day, we recommend calling before you stop out.  NCO is a family based business that has strived to provide it's customers with as much insight as possible.  My father taught me a valuable lesson when I was very young: “customer service is how businesses live or die.” Selling something is easy. Standing behind that product and making the right decisions for your customer is what keeps you in business.  So, for us, it’s simple: “Come in a customer; leave as a friend!”  I can guarantee that if you give me the opportunity to earn your trust and business, you will not go elsewhere for future shooting sports and hunting supplies.

I have Law Enforcement Officers on staff, including Firearms Instructors from large law enforcement agencies, who have been trained by the best and are eager to pass on their knowledge to those seeking instruction and tactical training.  I have staff that trap, fish and hunt all over this great state.  I do carry trapping supplies as well, just to appease the few local die-hard trappers that can still afford the fuel to check their lines.  My passion is precision rifle and pistol work.  So, if you want your firearm to shoot “one ragged hole” at 100 yards, get it to me. Let me true up the action, re-crown the muzzle, tune the trigger and work up some custom hand loads for your firearm and a “tack-driver” you shall have.  Now, instead of just telling your friends how great your rifle shoots, you can actually show them.
